Brad and Melody Landes reinforced that it is better to give than receive, while reading a Christmas card from ICM. For the past three years, the Landes’ have sponsored an ICM Jumpstart Kindergarten in General Santos. Their generosity allows between 25-35 children to achieve a solid educational foundation which will allow them entrance to government sponsored primary schools. As well, ICM Jumpstart Kindergartens provide daily hot meals, uniforms, medical/dental checks and medication.
Sitting with their children, Jocelyn and Michael, the Landes family looked at the card, which was filled with photos of Jumpstart Kindergarten children. The pride and joy in the students’ faces was unmistakeable. The joy and pride in the Landes’ family’s faces were unmistakeable as well.
