Connie Chu has more than 20 years legal experience in corporate governance, capital markets and M&A.
She joined the Aboitiz Group in 2023 as Group General Counsel, and Chief Legal & Compliance Officer of Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc., a leading company listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange.
Prior to joining the Aboitiz Group, Connie was with Cleary Gottlieb in New York & Hong Kong where she advised the governments of Indonesia, Mongolia and the Philippines, and companies listed in Asia and the US.
She was recently appointed as the Private Sector Representative to the Philippine Department of Trade & Industry Ease of Doing Business and Anti-Red Tape Advisory Council.
